The largest industrial park in southern Romania will be established in Dolj county

CJ Dolj establishes, in the town of Coşoveni, the largest industrial park in the south of Romania and the third in the county.

The industrial park will be created on a land of over 180 hectares, taken over from the Ministry of Justice.

"Together with Craiova City Hall, we tried to identify a suitable location to respond to the numerous requests from potential investors, both Romanian and foreign, to provide land areas connected to utilities for business development. We have identified a land that meets the necessary conditions, and today, during the ordinary plenary session, we put to a vote the approval of the transfer of an area of over 180 ha from the public domain of the state to the public domain of the Dolj Territorial Administrative Unit. The land on which the new industrial park will be built is located on the administrative territory of the town of Coșoveni and is, at the moment, under the administration of the Ministry of Justice, of the Pelendava Penitentiary", said the president of the Dolj CJ, Cosmin Vasile.

He added that once the vote of the county councilors is obtained, the steps will continue to obtain the title of industrial park for a legal duration of 30 years, which will be given to the administration of a commercial company.

"In this way, together with the City Hall of Craiova, we are creating the necessary infrastructure to attract investors and develop the region", says the head of the CJ.
